I'm not a huge fan of horror, but this was perfect. My two year olds favorite this year. LaRose had me thirsting for the outcome and ravenous for a sequel. "Few in number are the parents who have made it through their toddler's years on just one copy of Carle's The Very Hungry Caterpillar. This is more than just another instructional book it will become your teacher. The story is still good, but doesn't compare to some of his other books.
