In particular I was glad that the attraction of boy and girl in the story was chaste and part of a great story line Edun never devolves into endless torrid descriptions of physical intimacy which I have come to associate with the most execrable of the "Vampire fiction" authors. Plus, her sweetheart Nolan is always there to make her smile when she's feeling low.
